Initial Teacher Education

The Postgraduate Certificate in Education is a one-year award bearing course for graduates wishing to enter teaching. The PGCE in St Mary’s is specifically focused on teaching in an Irish Medium setting.

This innovative, three-year honors degree offers students the combination of focused study and broad development which is a key feature of a Liberal Arts education. The learning programme seeks to develop the skills necessary to succeed in new and challenging situations.
