Dr Jim Beggs, Head of Science, is attending the NARST (National Association for Research in Science Teaching) conference in New Orleans.
He is co-presenting a paper entitled; Revisioning Science Initial Teacher Education for the 21st Century: Co-teaching.
After the conference he will attend meetings in the Universities of Delaware and Pennsylvania to discuss their co-teaching programmes. He will also visit some of the schools in which co-teaching is taking place.
