St Mary's contribution to Action Cancer, a local cancer charity, was officially recognised at a ceremony at Stormont this month when the College was presented with a certificate to mark its major support for the charity.
This support has mainly centred on the annual exhibition by Art and Design students which has raised considerable sums for the charity in recent years. The Action Cancer "Big Bus" has visited the College as part of its work in early detection of disease, counselling and increasing public awareness of ways of preventing cancer.
We look forward to continuing and widening our links with Action Cancer in the future.
