Dr Gerard McCann, the copy editor of the Le Cheile journal, gave the keynote address at the launch of Dr Aidan Donaldson's new book in the DRC Bookshop in Belfast.
The book Come Follow Me: Recalling the Dangerous Memory of Jesus and the Church Today (Dublin: Columba Press, 2012) looks at the way in which faith can inform and change circumstances, with particular reference to the developing world.
Dr McCann's address drew on examples of social interaction to highlight the themes of solidarity and community in society today. The book is available online or at most bookshops. The latest edition of Le Cheile can be viewed on the College website.
