ERASMUS Intensive Programme - 'Migration and Narration' - Krosno, Poland, 2012.

St Mary's students and staff participated in an Erasmus Intensive Programme held in Krosno College, Poland (Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa w Krośnie) from 22nd July until 5th August 2012.

Poland

The Intensive Programme,'Migration and Narration', was a free summer module for students and academics from across Europe and the USA who were interested in studying topics such as migration and how different communities and societies deal with the experience of migration. It was attended by around seventy students at undergraduate and postgraduate level and eighteen academics from the EU and the USA. The programme included a series of lectures, seminars, social events and educational outings.

Other participating universities included: Universitat Bamberg, Germany; Kobenhavns Universitet, Denmark; Szegedi University, Hungary; Universidad de Huelva, Spain; Hogskolan dalarna, Falun, Sweden; Uniwersytet Jagiellonski, Krakow, Poland; Panstowowa Wyzsza Szkla Zawodowa, Krosno, Poland; Westfield State, USA and South Carolina University, USA.
