Students at St Mary’s University College, as well as members of the local community, had two opportunities today to attend a Road Safety Roadshow organised by the PSNI in association with AXA.
Based in the College Hall, the Roadshow was about saving lives and changing lives. Very powerful messages were communicated by police officers, members of the Fire and Rescue Service, paramedics and hospital staff.
These messages included the following:
• Lives are changed forever by road accidents
• Speeding kills
• Stay off mobile phones whilst driving.
• Speeding kills

The powerful imagery and sounds of road traffic collisions informed us that we all have to take this seriously.
