Dyslexia, Literacy and Inclusion

The College is pleased to announce the upcoming publication of a new book on dyslexia with one of its senior lecturers, Dr Louise Long, as a principal author. The book provides a much-needed and enabling perspective by focusing on the dyslexic student’s point of view and experience.

Throughout the book, Dr Long draws on her own extensive research activities in the field to explore issues in eliciting and giving influence to dyslexic children's views as well as adults' roles in meeting their emotional and academic needs so that ultimately, all children with dyslexia reach their potential.

Dyslexia, Literacy and Inclusion: Child-centred Perspectives (MacBLain, Long and Dunn) will be published by Sage in March 2015. Further details are below:
