Four local girls are eyeing Eurovision glory after being announced as one of five acts vying for a chance to represent Ireland in Vienna from the 19th to the 23rd of May.

“Idyllic Dolls” duo, Una McGill and Hannah McCauley (a St Mary’s student), have teamed up with sisters Edel and Clodagh Gribbin from “The Gribbin Girls” and rapper Alex Saint to form “Alex Saint and the MJs”.

The five piece will perform the track “She’s So Fine” on “The Late Late Show” on Friday, 27 February.

Ireland’s Eurovision entry will be selected by a combination of public and regional jury votes.
