Congratulations to the Cumann Gaelach's debating team, Niamh McElduff and Kayleigh Trappe (BEd2), who beat off competition from the University of Ulster and Queen’s University Belfast to win the preliminary round of the third-level Irish-language debating competition last night. The girls will now progress to the next round of the competition at Oireachtas na Samhna in Dublin next week.
