The Microbot Experience

2 February 2016

Pupils from five Belfast-based schools took part in “The Microbot Experience” project at St Mary’s University College on Friday, 5 February 2016.

The 120 pupils were challenged to solve several mathematically oriented problems by programming the microbots to perform specific tasks.

The five participating schools for this University Challenge Day were:

Bunscoil Bheann Mhadagáin
• Hazelwood Integrated Primary School
• Holy Rosary Primary School
• Seaview Primary School
• Sullivan Upper Prep

This research project is a collaborative venture by academic staff from both St Mary’s and Stranmillis University Colleges. Students from both colleges will be acting as mentors to the pupils.
