Ladies Football Success

8 December 2017

The whole college community at St Mary’s joins in celebrating the success of our Ladies Gaelic football team in the All-Ireland inter-universities Division 4 final.

The girls have gone unbeaten this season and took the title with a win over Tralee Institute of Technology, County Kerry. The final game was played at Stradbally, County Laois and St Mary's won on a scoreline of 3-12 to 1-3.

There were great scenes of celebration after the game. It is a vintage higher education scene with the team managed, coached and administered by students. Below are some pictures of the occasion.
