The award for the Technology and Design Graduate of the Year 2017 was presented to Sean Paul Gibson who graduated back in July 2017 with a first class honours degree. The award was presented to Sean Paul by Mr Joseph Murray from the IET.
Sean Paul is now teaching at St Dominic’s Grammar School for Girls alongside another St Mary’s graduate, Jamie Mulholland.
Mr Eoin McGread (Secretary of the Northern Ireland IET) referred to the ongoing collaborative working relationship with the Technology and Design department at St Mary’s University College:
“We are delighted to support the excellent work carried out by students and colleagues at St Mary's. We plan to create a blog on the IET website to further publicise this relationship.”
