INVITATION

"Every Five Minutes": The screening of a documentary by Tom McGrath
on the theme of addiction

If you are about Belfast on Tuesday, 6th August 2019, we are pleased to invite you to attend the showing of a unique film documentary in St Mary’s University College at 3:00 pm, to include Q&A and refreshments afterwards.

Paddy Tally will Chair the event, which is being delivered as part of the Féile an Phobail Discussions and Debates 2019 Summer School.

The event is on the theme of addiction, which we all know is a scourge on society. It is based around the life of a College graduate by the name of Tom McGrath (New York, ex Fermanagh) who left the Ranch in the late 1960s. Tom lives with addiction and he has dedicated his life to supporting charities that work to support people who suffer as he does.

On the following morning, Wednesday, 7th August, Tom will start a run from St Mary’s to Croke Park to raise funds for the mental health charity, Jigsaw Ireland.

There is no charge for entry to these events. There will be an opportunity to support the Jigsaw Charity online and copies of Tom's book, “The Black Sheep" will be available to purchase.
