Admission to St Mary’s in September 2020

A message to applicants from the College Principal,
Professor Peter Finn, KSG

Due to a cap on the number of undergraduate places that are available at St Mary’s University College, we will not be following Queen’s University and Ulster University who have issued a large number of unconditional offers well in advance of the release of A Level (or equivalent) results on 13th August.

We will continue with our normal practice of making decisions on admission to courses after results are received. The following is some important information if you are thinking about your application to St Mary’s.

We believe that St Mary’s is a place that goes out of its way to support students in achieving the very best outcomes from their higher education. In September 2020 we will welcome back many hundreds of students of both teacher education and liberal arts as well as meet a cohort of two-hundred and fifty new students. Campus life will be challenging for everyone as we learn to adapt to the circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic. I can assure you that we have been working very hard over the summer to make the necessary preparations for a safe campus. We are fortunate that social distancing can be readily introduced at our campus which has a relatively high level of capacity.

If you chose to study at St Mary’s you can also be assured of a very warm welcome and many opportunities to make new friends as well as undertake exciting learning opportunities on your journey of higher education.

We believe there are a large number of reasons why you should choose St Mary’s for your higher education and here are some of them in the specific case of Liberal Arts with six subject options.
