An Open Evening was held on Tuesday 11th October 2005 at 7pm for students intending to apply for a place in St. Mary's University College 2006. This session was aimed at those individuals who may have missed our previous two Open Days in September.

The College held two Open Days on Thursday 15th September and Friday 16th September 2005.
The sessions were timetabled as follows:
Thursday 15th September
Session 1 9.30 – 10.45
Session 2 10.45 – 12.00
Session 3 12.00 – 1.30
Friday 16th September
Session 4 9.30 – 10.45
Session 5* 10.45 – 12.00
Session 6* 12.00 – 1.30
*These sessions were particularly busy.
Each session had the same format. After arrival in the College, visiting staff and students made their way to the assembly hall where they viewed a promotional PowerPoint presentation and a DVD about College life. Visiting staff were then encouraged to avail of hospitality provided in the staffroom where they had an opportunity to meet the Admissions Manager and ask questions. Meanwhile, students were arranged in groups and taken on a tour of the College premises in the company of Student Union representatives. Tour groups and staff then met back at the dining hall ready for departure. The approximate length of each session was between one hour fifteen minutes and one hour thirty minutes. Visiting students could avail of the College's catering facilities.
