Tyrone and St Mary's to face off in McKenna Cup

28 November 2005

St Mary's University College, Belfast have been drawn with Tyrone, Donegal and Down in Section C of the Ulster competition.

Interestingly, St Mary's are managed by Paddy Tally, the man who trained Tyrone to their first All-Ireland senior title in 2003.

Tally departed as trainer of the Red Hands last September as Harte admitted, at the time, that their “working relationship no longer exists”. The former colleagues will come face-to-face again on January 15 when St Mary's take on Tyrone at Coalisland.
