Global Day at St Mary's University College - Monday 29 January 2007
The day will include a show case entitled 'The World in Your Classroom' including educational resources for incorporating the global dimension into teaching at both primary and secondary levels. Students who have travelled to Africa this year will be presenting their work and sharing their experiences.
Throughout the week the library will have a range of resources relating to the global dimension on show and on Monday there will be resources for sale as well as some freebies for those coming early. With live music and refreshments on sale it promises to be an exciting day.
Money raised from the cake sale will go towards Mrs. Miyanda's orphanage in Zambia.
The showcase starts at 10am and runs until 4.00pm in the Snack Bar in the Student's Union.
