Two hundred and six St Mary’s students graduated with a degree either in Education or in the Liberal Arts at the Whitla Hall, Queen’s University, on Thursday, 29 June.

Their names were called by the College Principal, Professor Peter Finn, and each student was congratulated by Dr Thomas J Moran, Chancellor of the University.

Parents and friends joined the graduates at a traditional garden party after the ceremony.

Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education and Students, Professor David Jones, who is also a member of the St Mary’s Board of Governors, told the graduates that the ceremony would become one of the most memorable of their lives. That was certainly the case judging by the photographs that were taken on the day.
