Cara O’Hagan was awarded the Fr O’Callaghan Cup for Entrepreneurship at the Liberal Arts Commencement Ceremony which took place at St Mary’s on Wednesday,19 June 2019.
During her final year of study Cara completed a six-week work placement with ProfileTree, based at The Innovation Factory, Forthriver Business Park, Belfast. Tasks assigned involved Cara in social marketing media, search engine optimisation and content marketing, allowing her to build an invaluable skills base in a field of business significant to her future career interests.
Ciaran Connolly, CEO of ProfileTree, commented, “Cara was a pleasure to work with. She got on very well with the team and was keen to learn new things. Not only to deliver what was needed but also to improve what we were doing in the business day-to-day. She has a great understanding of the business needs and always delivers for the company.”
During her years of study, Cara always challenged herself to work outside her comfort zone. While on placement she developed an understanding of innovative marketing techniques which should support her intended application to suitable corporate graduate programmes. We wish Cara every success for the future.
