Early Birds Project in Germany

Five BEd graduates from St Mary’s are now working in German Kindergarten for the Early Birds Project. This project has been lead from its inception by Dr Carl Hahn, former CEO of the Volkswagen Group. The graduates are now based in Wolfsburg and Chemnitz.

A short documentary programme on the Early Birds Project was shown recently on German Television. The project has a focus on immersion education through the English language as well as innovative Early Years pedagogy.

Professor Hahn was interviewed by Eamonn Mallie during one of his visits to Belfast.
