Working in Brussels

22 February 2011

Armelle Lefebure, a third year Liberal Arts student has secured a placement in Brussels as part of the College’s Work Related Learning Programme. She will spend a month shadowing Katie Murphy, Political Advisor to Bairbre de Brún MEP, in the European Parliament.

Armelle

For Armelle it is a dream come true.

“Not only does it give me uncountable numbers of further opportunities, but it also emphasises what the Liberal Arts degree stands for, namely that Europe is smaller now than ever and that students can now benefit from studying a broad range of European related studies. St Mary's has always been renowned for giving its student amazing traveling opportunities with programs such as Erasmus, BEI, Study China and others and now students can go even further and have their Work Related Placement abroad”
