Social and Cultural Programme for ERASMUS students

02 February 2006

The inward ERASMUS students having embarked on their academic courses have now begun their social and cultural induction. On Tuesday of this week, they took part in a Euro quiz. On Wednesday, they went to the National Trust wilderness area of Divis and Black Mountain where they looked at the prehistoric dwelling and burial sites in addition to seeing an archaeological dig in progress. At the dig they were able to see the site being digitally surveyed using scanning techniques. Further events include a trip to the Mourne Mountains, Giant's Causeway and the Eurovision night.
