Student Experience

The Camogie club in St Mary's is one of the longest running and best in the College. We train a few times a week, usually Monday and Wednesday and have matches every few weeks. After reaching the Camogie weekend in 2017, the team reached new heights in 2018 and won the Division 3 championship, the Fr Meachair Cup. In 2019 the ladies just missed out in winning the weekend again as they made it into the final. We hold a few fundraising nights each year, which not only helps us throughout the year but are also always great craic. The girls that play are dedicated to the club... both on and off the pitch!! Joining the camogie club is a great way to settle in and meet other students. New players are always welcome so feel free to join up as membership will guarantee some of the best experiences of your St Mary's career.

Best thing about this Club:"The camogie club was without a doubt the best club I was a part of whilst in St Mary’s. Even now that I've graduated I still keep in contact with the girls and try and attend as many matches and nights out as I can. Get involved and you'll see what I mean! Great group of girls who are always up for the craic!"
Main Activities / Fixtures:No current fixtures
Social Activities:A number of team nights out and fundraisers are organised throughout the year. We try to hold at least one club fundraiser in each semester, which have, in the past, ranged from Beach Party themed nights, to Back to School, and Club Colours. Watch this space for any upcoming events!
